The first thing on your Vegas-inspired bucket list has to be winning a game of three-card poker; after all, it’s the only thing that makes you a better investor. The game is not just fun, it’s also relatively easier to learn. It allows you to win against the dealer based on how great your cards have turned out to be. So the idea of emerging as the beast of poker is to play the best three-card poker hand with a mere three cards in hand:
The Rule Book for Playing Three-Card Poker
Initially, the player must place a pair plus wager or/and an ante wager where they bet on what they will have a hand at. The dealer then hands out three cards to every player on the table face down. After studying the hand, the player can decide whether to play a wager against the dealer’s hand. If you fold now, the hand is over. This allows the dealer to collect the pair plus wager as well as the ante wager. However, if the player places a play wager, the cards need to be turned over to analyze if the player does have better cards than the dealer.
In case the dealer’s hand turns out to be superior, the pair plus and ante bets are both collected. But if the dealer has a hand of Jack that is higher or lower, the player wager is returned to the player. Likewise, when the dealer has a hand of Queen that’s high or better, the play wager and ante are paid out 1 to 1, given that the player’s hand turned out to be better than the dealers.
What the Payouts Look Like
The pair plus payouts look a little as follows: pair (1 to 1), flush (3 to 1), straight (6 to 1), three of a kind (30 to 1), and straight flush (40 to 1). On the other hand, the ante bonus payouts have slimmer options with straight (1 to 1), three of a kind (4 to 1), and straight flush (5 to 1).
